Community Conversation 2020
What a year!
Our growing season is coming to a close and our attention is looking ahead at our 2021 season. Our previous plans have been unsuccessful and we would like to explore more feedback from local people interested in our project. You are invited to join us for our Community Conversation 2020.
Friday 14th August at 6pm, on the Deck or in the Lounge at Blackhill Club with a fire and social time after.
We have had some big changes at The ALT Group and we need to consider our options for Blackhill Club Community Garden. This is a critical time for us to consider our future... what does the community want from the garden and what are you willing to give? Who is the "community"? and does The ALT Group need to continue running this project??
Come along and get involved with this interactive conversation and experience how community decisions could be made, how conversions and meetings about our future can be hosted and have your say that will directly impact a decision made in your community.
Everyone is welcome.
Every Thursday 12.30-2.15pm or 2.15-4.30pm - Until September 2020.
Come and join us to explore a range of garden skills from seed sowing and plant nurturing to compost turning as well out helping us create larger spaces. We use Permaculutre design and organice growing methods tog row food all year around.
This year we will also be exploring how to earn money through our produce creating new products and take them to market. We will be learning as we create and sell our own product range.
